Teenage girls have sat in Cathy Hunt's office and told her straight to her face they don't care that they have herpes.

As a counselor at the Genesis Recovery Center, it's Hunt's job to educate teen girls and boys about the effects drugs and alcohol can have on their bodies, and encourage them to lead healthier lifestyles.

NASCAR announced Saturday that it will begin random drug testing of drivers, over-the-wall crewmembers and officials beginning with the start of the 2009 season.

To help parents understand how media glamorizes drugs and alcohol and to encourage communication with their children about this issue, Drug Free Pennsylvania is conducting a free informational Parent Session on June 19, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel.
